  • This is a fun book where the child can "make" their own hamburger.
  • The little booklet between the burger bun is removed and the child reads the book and removes the lettuce, meat patty, cheese slice and tomato slice from the pages of the booklet as it is read by the adult and the child sticks them in order on the bun to make a hamburger.
  • A healthy alternative of ingredients is suggested for making a real hamburger at home or at school.
  • A spare set of loose food pieces are supplied.

  • A fun interactive book for young children that teaches the stages of a plant's growth.
  • The little booklet is read by the adult or braille reader and it contains the loose roots, stem with leaves, flower and the butterfly which the child sticks to velcro on the inside cover of the book to "build" their own plant.
  • This book teaches the child that a seed needs soil, sun and water in order to grow.
  • It also teaches blind children where the various sections of the plant are found.

  • Another fun interactive book where the child can "build" their own pizza from instructions in the booklet which contains simple text and Grade 1 braille.
  • The booklet is removed from between the folded pizza base which also acts as a cover for the booklet.
  • The booklet contains the loose pieces comprising of tomato paste, salami slices, mushroom slices and grated cheese which fit onto their specific velcro shapes on the pizza. This encourages the child to feel the shapes and to fit the different items of food in the correct place.
  • A healthy alternative of ingredients is suggested for making a real pizza at home or at school.
  • A spare set of loose food pieces is supplied.
